Sven B. Schreiber This is the first album of "The Enid" co-founder Francis Lickerish after leaving the band and the music business altogether for a long time. His name appears in the author credits of several compositions on the first four Enid albums, some of which are among the best ones the band ever recorded. This exquisite symphonic rock album gives an idea of how widespread his influence on the sound of the early incarnation of "The Enid" probably has been. Don't miss the follow-up album "Far and Forgot" as well, which is exactly in the same vein. Favorite track: Ecchoing Green.

Marc MOINGEON It took me too long to discover that Francis Lickerish who co-signed so many magnificent tracks on the early albums by The Enid albums (of which the 3 first ones stay my favourites from the band to this day) had recorded some new music. I wish To Wake the King would exist on CD, would have a real booklet but well, those days are hard for such artist, I know. :( The album is just beautiful. It's good to listen again to some symphonic and romantic, grandiose music with Renaissance influence
