Far and Forgot - From The Lost Lands

Nickie Harte Kelly Here is essentially classical music that includes electric instrumentation, brought by a founder of The Enid, and superbly done. A concept piece that tells of an ancient world, complete with enchantments (and disenchantments), wizards, and fae. A female vocalist with a stunning voice decorates some of the pieces. Also note: Secret Green’s To Wake The King is also a fine listen. Favorite track: Seeds of the Sun (A Lament for the Hedgerows).

Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Sometimes the "old guys" still are the best... Francis Lickerish? Oh, yes, 1976... founding member of "The Enid" - the purest incarnation of symphonic rock... co-wrote many tracks on the first four albums with Robert John "The Great" Godfrey... after a seemingly endless span of time he returned to the music, and bestowed on us a most marvelous opus that sounds more authentically like 70's Enid than the band's later works themselves. Words are just not enough to describe the beauty of this music. Thank you so much for making me feel like I'm on holidays in the region of the summer stars! Favorite track: The Disenchanting - i) Willow Hill.
